[Those in the Rocket Base are sure to hear some... interesting sounds. Sounds of fists pounding, and of some guy... roaring? Yes, roaring. Seems one of the new recruits is a bit of an oddball.

And it won't be long until Bowser bursts into the hall, fists clenched, his lips pulled back to reveal some gigantic, pointed teeth... highly unnatural for a human. Behind him toddles a Turtwig, who rolls her eyes as she trails behind him. Why did she have to get stuck with a crazy one?]

Graaaah! When I get my hands on the one who did this to me, I'll smash 'em into the ground and take back what's rightfully mine! That Star Rod's gotta be around here somewhere...

[Somebody may want to intervene. This guy's packing a lot of muscle and some pretty huge fists, after all.]

Bah. Well, I'll find some way around it! Nobody tells me what to do.

Muahaha, that's an easy one! I was a vicious, horned Koopa, bigger and badder than even my most vile minions. I could spew flames outta my mouth, smash my enemies into little pancakes... Oh, and I turned invincible recently.

that's usually what kammy koopa's for. she's the one who handles all those tiny details in the first place

Part of being a villain's having the right attitude. Even without my Troop by my side, I have a cold, blackened heart and an iron fist! That puts me above any rookie.

Well, considering half of the point is to journey, they are at least half right. I suppose you can say the whole purpose is to travel around the two neighboring regions of Johto and Kanto and challenge the gyms for their badges.

These are...I guess you can say proof that your Pokemon are strong and that you are smart. It takes a combination of both most times to defeat the gym leaders.

[...Interesting. Two kingdoms, and these gyms are a hallmark of power and skill.]

Are these so-called Gym Leaders the rulers of this kingdom?

[And she is INSTANTLY distracted.]

What an adorable Pokemon! It must be a grass type! Look at that little face! And what a healthy shade of green!

Mmm....perhaps not the rulers, but if you wanted to look at it that way you could say they are the kingdoms' most powerful generals? There are eight in each region. Supposedly, if you have all the badges, you would then be able to challenge the Elite Four. But right now their doors are closed and no one is allowed to attempt that.

So it was self defense, huh?

[Brutal self defense, but that somehow makes it a little closer to T rated. Maybe.]

Well, I know one thing for sure! If I could get Mario outta my hair for good, it'd be a miracle. Even after I stomped him into the dirt with my invincibility, he's still trying to play hero.

Believe me, I will! Whatever these pokey-monster things are, they'll be bowing before my terrifying presence in no time!
