[Those viewing the Rocket feed are sure to see this burly brute dressed in a bright red suit! He's grinning fiendishly with a sack in hand, and he clears his throat before he begins.]

Listen up! I'm unleashing a sinister scheme that's sure to make this one Christmas this city will never forget! I've got a gig set up at the Department Store to act like a jolly, old fatso with a beard. The catch? Stealing loot and Pokémon from the pipsqueaks that come crawling my way. And any other morons around.

But don't think I'm stopping there. No, I've got bigger plans! Wrecker, Boo, if you please...

[In the background, a vine hoists up a plate of delightful looking Christmas cookies, while a second plate floats seemingly all by itself.]

Looks pretty harmless, but there's a catch! Each one of these suckers has been loaded with Toxic and Poison Powder, making them one heckuva snack. It'll leave any idiot that eats 'em in bed for days, if not longer! So if you see little stands run by my minions in elf suits, don't eat 'em if you know what's good for ya.

[He chuckles and points a finger at the screen.]

So why am I telling you all this? Easy! Because I'm looking for people to help set up shop. To run some of the stands and ship out the goods to the other cities for good measure. And if you've got any doubts, think of it this way; it's not every day you get the honor of working with the epitome of villainy! Gwa ha ha ha!

[Those browsing the network will see an anonymous text message pop up on their devices, courtesy of a certain moron's less moronic Hypno.]

Ho ho ho!

Santa Claus has come to town, so come on people, gather 'round. Visit the Goldenrod Department Store for joy, love, and presents galore! Here for a limited time, so don't miss out! See what the fuss is all about. Bring your friends, bring your families, bring your Pokémon, too. It's fun for you and you, and YOU!

Not in town but looking for cheer? Don't feel sad, never fear! We have fresh holiday treats for you to share. For pickup, air mail, we don't even care! Our home baked goods are a North Pole fav. And with our free samples, think of the money you'll save!

And now that this rhyming's outta the way, leave all cookie orders here and have a good day!

[Those in Goldenrod City are sure to find something interesting. No matter where they look, there are stands littering the street lined with plates of fresh, Christmas cookies with a sign that reads "FREE SAMPLES". For those who would like to buy a whole batch, they will find that the price is quite cheap-- P300! That's only a little more than a Rage Candy Bar!

Some of the stands are manned by Pokémon in elf, snowman, and Reindeer suits. These include one adorable little Squirtle, a Magmar, a Larvitar, an Ivysaur, a Magcargo, and a Tirtouga, just to name a few.

Inside the Department Store, however, lies an even stranger sight-- Department Store Santa Claus, complete with the bushy beared, the suit with all the bells and whistles, a rather comfortable looking chair, gift sack, and more Pokémon in cute little costumes. ...Including a Hypno, Granbull, Gible, and Machoke. These Pokémon seem harmless enough, leading kids and other visitors towards the big guy himself and occasionally handing out gift boxes.

What those with a less watchful eye may not realize is that they're being watched constantly. Not only by the Hypno, but by something else. Something unseen... something making a grab for those Pokéballs you may or may not have.]

[ooc: And Bowser plot begins now! For info, look here. Please let me know if you're okay with him stealing. I'd rather not have him found out right away. Also note that the cookies are poisoned with either Poison Powder or Toxic.

For the text portion, all replies will be anonymous! This is a good chance for characters outside of Goldenrod to get involved in the cookie plot. ;)

Oh, this is so nice... Would you mind sending some towards Violet?

[Ah... it's the pony girl his trainer spoke of. Before responding, Snorcerer casts a glance to his trainer, informing Bowser of her presence.

Once he gets the approval...]

Of course, my dear!

But where in Violet shall I send these treats for you and any companions to eat?

You can just send them to the Pokemon Center, that's where me and my friends will be staying a while. This'll make a nice gift for them, and we can celebrate being among friends again.

It's always best to celebrate among your peers! With laughter and singing and holiday cheer.

[...Curses, writing everything in rhyme makes conversations so difficult. Why, if it weren't for his trainer's insistence that he transcribe everything in verse...]

I hope that these cookies shall be a delight in order to make the season bright!

Expect them to arrive posthaste, we wouldn't want these treats to go to waste!

[After arriving in Goldenrod the day before, Misaki had been out looking for Christmas shopping instead of applying for work like she thought she was. Madoka was nearby, walking a few steps behind her. She was a bit broke after buying said gifts but she could find a job after the holidays anyway.]

[She was going to head back to the Pokecenter when she noticed there were stands all over the place with pokemon at some of them. Now she wouldn't normally pay attention to such stands but they seemed to contain cookies. Maybe it was something she could get for her pokemon. Also, she was kind of craving something sweet.]

[Misaki came across a stand with a Larvitar manning it. It seemed rather cute in that little costume of his.]

What's this now, cookies? Mind if I'll try one? If its good enough, I might buy a batch.

[...Good. A customer.

Tremor nods, holding up one of the samples. Despite the poison inside, it should taste just fine, and how soon the effects kick in is up in the air. Perhaps instantly, perhaps not until it reaches the stomach.

Either way, he doesn't really care. He's carrying out this boring task for his trainer and that alone.]

[ Aradia is of course instantly drawn in by the booths manned - pokémanned? - throughout town. The one she ends up going to is the one with a Squirtle, looking around for a trainer curiously. She hasn't been able to spot one at any of the booths, but...

Well, Christmas cookies! A Haunter trails along after her, although he seems less interested in the cookies than Aradia does. ]

Free samples? [ She does like cookies, but. Only a few of her pokemon are with her right now, and this sounds like something they would all enjoy! :D ]

[Why helloooo, pretty lady and ghost-man. Once he spots her, Hammer winks and spreads out his arms in order to emphasize the many plates of cookies he's got. C'mon! You know you want one.

They're to die for.]

[Lightning's normally got a cookies type of woman, but after all the fuss and muss and running about over the past week, and with more of it to come, she figures they could use a treat. What harm could a few cookies do, anyway?]

I'll take a batch.

[If they're not good, she can just toss them or something. And while her balls are out of sight, her wallet isn't. She most definitely intends to purchase a packet from whichever Pokemon isn't busy at the moment.]

[Oho, it's a tough lookin' lady. Blargg can totally respect that.

Or she would, if she wasn't on super radical evil business! Once Lightning approaches, she folds her hands together and smirks. Then, with a nod, she grabs one of the cookie boxes, wrapped with a nice little ribbon on top. Festive, huh?

They could be Toxic'd, Poison Powdered, or maybe a bit of both! Blargg didn't bother to check since, ew, gross. That'd require eating the darn things, and that's the exact opposite of awesome.

So enjoy, Lightning! Once the money's distributed, she'll happily tuck it away and lean back in her seat.]

[Misaki took the cookie from the Larvitar.] Thanks.

[The girl was about to take a bite out of the cookie until the Tranquill decided to abruptly take the poisoned treat out of Misaki's hands. Misaki fumed as the bird recklessly ate the cookie.]

Madoka, what the hell. I would've bought you and the others a whole bunch of cookies anyway!

[Won't be long until the poison kicks in.]

[No, no, no, no, no! Tremor gasps, his eyes wide in horror, and he nearly stumbles out of his chair!

Those cookies are for trainers, not Pokémon! Oh. Oh, what the heck is he supposed to do? Biting his lip, he looks down at the plate, then up at the girl and the bird...

Aha! He'll just have to offer another. If nothing else, maybe the dumb bird's allergic to one of the ingredients. That'd make a great cover!

So, yes, he's holding up another cookie with a tiny little smile.]

[The Larvitar's second offering diverted Misaki's attention towards the green pokemon. She made a confused look as she took the other cookie.] Um...thanks, I guess.

[She was about to take a bite out of the treat until she hears a noise coming nearby. She looked towards Madoka's direction and noticed the bird was coughing out the cookie that it had eaten. Misaki didn't think anything was wrong with her until the pokemon collapsed.]

MADOKA!! [She hurried over to the Tranquill, dropping the cookie.]

Hmm. Can I take a batch? How much are those?

[ Awww, cute wink. Maybe she'll have some later and share with her pokemon. They like treats, after all. ]

Graaaa!

[Tremor squeaks and shuffles for something, anything to try and avert her attention. If only he had psychic powers like Snoreceror. That'd do the trick.

Um.

...uh.

Deep breaths. He's not supposed to be this frantic, darn it. He's a stone-cold fighter, for crying out loud!

Once he does manage to compose himself, Tremor takes a stick and etches the word "allergic?" in the snow. There.]

[Heh, heh. Well, lovely lady, he'll just hold up a little note card that reads: "only P300!"

Cheap. Delicious. C'mooooon. Eat 'em up. Tell your friends! Spread the goods.]

[ Wow this pokémon is well-equipped with signs. Although given how many booths there are, the trainer probably has a lot to oversee...

Anyway, she will pull out 300 pokéyen from her bag and hand it over. Clearly this decision will not come back to haunt her. ]

[As she held the poisoned bird in her arms, she noticed the little rock monster etching out a word in the snow. She took a closer look at the word and saw it read out 'allergic'.]

[Misaki might've stopped to consider that if it wasn't for the fact that when it comes to any danger to Madoka, she acts before she thinks.]

You.. [She returns Madoka ball to her ball before taking out another one. She was giving the Larvitar an icy stare.] You did something to the cookies, didn't you?

[...Drat. A battle was far from what he wanted. Rather than flip, though, Tremor stands his ground and shakes his head. It's not entirely a lie anyway. He wasn't the one Bowser taught Toxic. He's merely a distributor.

Perhaps if he approaches the situation calmly, he can weasel his way out of it. If not, he's more than happy to whip up a Sandstorm and some Stealth Rocks before seeking out the others as backup.]

How absolutely devioussss!

[Looks like Cobra's not the only one thinking outside the box this year. And he approves of that.]

I had no idea you were capable of such deception!

Gwa ha ha! They don't call me the King of Awesome for nothin'.

[Oh, praise. Beautiful praise! Bowser smiles from ear to ear just thinking about it.]

I've got years of experience pulling villainous plots.

[The feed opens to... maniacal laughter. Someone's clearly getting a kick out of this.]

Oh man, if only you'd shown up sooner, sir! Johto would be completely terrorized by now! But that's alright, I'm sure this will get a few of them interested in interfering with our plans in the future!

[And let's be real, fighting is just part of the fun!]

I'm not doing much here, so I'd be happy to help out! My Pokémon aren't really great for helping sell cookies, but I can certainly help out! Just tell me where you want me and I'll make sure to make a killing off those cookies!

[JUST LIKE A GIRL SCOUT okay that comparison was uncalled for.]

[...She wasn't going to take a simple no for an answer.]

Then who did?! Don't even try to bullshit me!

[At this point, she sent out Wani from his ball. The large Feraligatr was standing beside her, looking towards the green pokemon with a toothy grin on its face, wanting to battle the little guy already. Of course, he couldn't until his trainer gave the order.]

[Misaki only sent him out in case the little pokemon tried something and possibly for intimidation. Being a huge, towering crocodile brute had some perks.]

[If only he were a Tyranitar. Then he'd revel at the challenge provided by the type disadvantage. As it is, he's got a quadruple weakness and, at his level, it'd be stupid to actually fight that brute.

No, the best course of action would be to find Lockjaw. Perhaps Iron Fist... Maybe even Smasher.

Once again, Tremor shakes his head and shrugs. Maybe it was a problem on the assembly line.

If his cool front doesn't work, he'll whip up that sandstorm and high tail it towards the store.]

[He almost wants to ask who actually calls Bowser that, but he's trying to be nice here.]

Oh, I can sssee that. This is hardly something that an amateur would be able to pull off. But once again, I am ssssurprised. Our prior conversations led me to believe that overwhelming disssplays of force were your specialty.
