Magikarp is virtually useless in battle as it can only splash around. As a result, it is considered to be weak. However, it is actually a very hardy Pokémon that can survive in any body of water no matter how polluted it is.

Info: What is this stupid fish? Is this Team Rocket's idea of a joke? Bowser finds himself... less than impressed with this Magikarp's power and has aptly named him Fish Food because with one wimpy attack, he might as well be! Of course, Bowser, being the stubborn type, plans to train this rookie up to be a dangerous demon of the sea. ...somehow.

Bowser's attitude towards Fish Food has given him a low self esteem, but he's determined to appease his trainer even if it hurts him!
