[Those in the Rocket Base are sure to hear some... interesting sounds. Sounds of fists pounding, and of some guy... roaring? Yes, roaring. Seems one of the new recruits is a bit of an oddball.

And it won't be long until Bowser bursts into the hall, fists clenched, his lips pulled back to reveal some gigantic, pointed teeth... highly unnatural for a human. Behind him toddles a Turtwig, who rolls her eyes as she trails behind him. Why did she have to get stuck with a crazy one?]

Graaaah! When I get my hands on the one who did this to me, I'll smash 'em into the ground and take back what's rightfully mine! That Star Rod's gotta be around here somewhere...

[Somebody may want to intervene. This guy's packing a lot of muscle and some pretty huge fists, after all.]

Unfortunately, as you've likely heard plenty at this point, nothing will help you with that. Being a human may take some time getting used to, but it can be rather pleasant here. At least compared to...whatever it was you were before, I'm sure. They don't exactly accommodate for the alien types.

That's a rather rude assumption on your part. If Johto is capable of turning you human, who is to say that I am not a human originally? I have been here for nearly two years now, I've had a lot of time to grow accustomed to the settings.

Well, I will give you a few pieces of advice then. No matter how much you demand over the network, no one ever steps up for being the one who brought you here. Legendary Pokemon, at this point in my research, have nothing to do with it either. And neither do Team Rocket, no matter how dastardly they may be.

And despite the fact that they may seem like guys you would want to hang out with, Mister Koopa King, they're really incompetent. You'd be better starting your own evil army.

What kind of ruler would I be if I didn't rebuild my army? Believe me, it's on the agenda!

[Totally not talking about that Rocket bit, though.He is still PONDERING the situation.]

Well, considering half of the point is to journey, they are at least half right. I suppose you can say the whole purpose is to travel around the two neighboring regions of Johto and Kanto and challenge the gyms for their badges.

These are...I guess you can say proof that your Pokemon are strong and that you are smart. It takes a combination of both most times to defeat the gym leaders.

Are these so-called Gym Leaders the rulers of this kingdom?

Mmm....perhaps not the rulers, but if you wanted to look at it that way you could say they are the kingdoms' most powerful generals? There are eight in each region. Supposedly, if you have all the badges, you would then be able to challenge the Elite Four. But right now their doors are closed and no one is allowed to attempt that.

Pah! Those Elite Four nimrods must be a bunch of cowards. As for these leaders... Muahahaha, they'll be whimpering on the floor once I'm through with 'em!
