03 - video/action for Goldenrod;

[A message pops up on the gears reading...]

ARCHIVED FOOTAGE DATED: 11/24/12...

[The footage begins with static before flashing to a shot of Goldenrod burning. Some crackling sounds-- loud ones, at that, blare from the speakers. They almost sound like explosions. Cut to more static.

When the image clears, there's a shot of Goldenrod Gym reduced to rubble, and the following figure turns his head to the camera...]



[There's a magic wand gripped in his hand. He grins and cackles before the image cuts out again. A distorted audio track continues to play over the static...]

...re... do it... roof...

...can see...

... ... new ruler!

[The audio breaks into a sharp hiss, and the archived video ends.

With that, the feed shifts to Bowser, back in his human form and looking none too pleased about it.]

That weekend wasn't a dream! I might not remember everything that happened, but I know I nearly leveled this stinking city! And there's some punk I need to cream for blowing up one of my clown cars!

But you're in luck. The video I've managed to save is proof of my awesome appearance, preserved for all time! That is what I mean when I say koopa, and don't you forget it!

Now, I will find a way to change back again, and when I do, you'll all bow before your supreme ruler!

[With that, he clicks the video off.

For the rest of the day, Bowser can be found herding around various Pokémon, training them up, and wandering around the Rocket Base. The whole time, he'll be scowling at anyone and anything that crosses his path. How dare this place undo the amazing work he did?! And his castle, too!]

What an interesting plan! Taking advantage of the gaps in people's memories and using doctored footage to pass yourself off as...whatever that thing is!

[And it all matches up nicely with the story he told Cobra. Whoever he had splice that together did a wonderful job.]

One question though, what Pokemon did you use for that? I've never ssseen one like it.

[As if to prove his point, he bares is very sharp teeth and gestures to the very similar eyebrows and hair of his.]

You don't have to try and convince me. After all, we're on the sssame side, and I won't tell anyone. What is it? A painted Blasssstoise? I must admit that the resemblance is uncanny. It must have taken quite a bit of work to make matching features.

[If only Cobra actually remembered their conversation more than recalling that he discussed something with Bowser over the weekend.]

Consssidering that everyone is human here, regardless of what they were before.

[Which considering Cobra's life, he's pretty grateful for that.]

And that I don't recall anyone ever changing back....yessss, it is rather hard to believe.
